The Advice Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day management of the Advice Nurse Unit by planning and coordinating staff, developing and revising policies and procedures, assisting with the daily work schedule and forecasting to ensure that 24/7 staffing needs are met, planning and directing the work of subordinate staff, and performing monthly quality management audits.

• License Required: Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California.
• Education: Possession of a Bachelor degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Either 1) three (3) years of full-time or its equivalent experience as a telephone triage Registered Nurse; OR 2) three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in one of the following areas of an acute care hospital: medical surgical unit, labor and delivery unit, post partum unit, pediatric unit, intensive or critical care unit, emergency department; Or a Registered Nurse in a surgery center or urgent care facility; Or a Registered Nurse in a maternal child health, home health, public health setting, or in nursing case management; AND at least one (1) year of the required experience must have been in either an advice nurse unit or in a lead or supervisory role.
